About the GRFN

The Global Radical Faerie Newsletter is a digital enterprise for faeries across the world. Our mission is to keep us all in stronger communication and contact as we are now spread across five continents. Staying in touch can enhance our personal and our community well-being. Many of us live in challenging socio-political circumstances. Knowing we are not alone and are part of a worldwide network of heart centered care and support can enhance our well-being. For some of us this may mean survival support and for others just a richer life.

Radical Faerie culture has been at the vanguard of queer liberation in thought and activism for almost fifty years. GRFN affirms the heart centered spiritual culture of the radical faeries. We affirm sex positive, politically conscious, artistically expressive, and socially engaging activist culture. We affirm mother earth and we affirm subject-subject consciousness. We affirm the evolving pan-gendered nature of radical faeries. We also acknowledge regional variations in the expression of radical faerie culture.

At GRFN, our intention is to offer useful information, resources, and uplifting short articles to keep us connected. Longer articles will eventually be linked to our website. We hope to expand our input from various writers and reporters within the global faerie community. We are inviting pieces which inform, educate, enlighten, and entertain our diverse faerie sisters and brothers. We exist to support you radical faeries in your diverse radical faerie cultures and assist in the weaving of faerie cultures from Australia to Berlin, from Buenos Aeries to London, from Mexico City to Tel Aviv, from Taiwan to New York.

GRFN is a heart centered volunteer project with a tiny budget.

We hope to eventually establish compensation for contributors when possible. In future issues we hope to include:
